The Farmer's market at 3rd and Fairfax is Los Angeles' oldest outdoor market, open since 1934. Most people know it as a tourist attraction, or nowadays as part of the Grove megaplex. But Farmers market vendors pride themselves on the freshness of their products. Most of the prepared foods for sale are made right on the spot, often behind big plate glass windows so you can watch the candy being made and the ice cream churning.

With so much shopping, eating and sightseeing to do, hop on the free trolly that connects The Grove Shopping Pavillion & The Farmers Market for an ultimate day out. The Grove offers an array of stores and restaurants, along with an elegant art-deco movie theater reminiscent of the grand movie palaces of early Los Angeles.
Farmer's Market is a one hour and a half drive from Air Force Village West and the Village has bus trips if you prefer not to drive.
